Members and volunteers

The Saskatoon Blues Society promotes, fosters, supports and celebrates Blues music in Saskatoon and throughout our province Saskatchewan, located in Canada. We organise an annual mid-winter blues festival, host our own events throughout the year, and provide opportunities for listeners and players to share their knowledge and experience in the diversity of the blues with each other and the people of Saskatchewan.

The Saskatoon Blues Society interacts and partners with a variety of blues organisations and associations provincially, nationally and internationally.

By joining SBS, you are helping us support Blues music in Saskatoon. We are now implementing a new membership management system, which will allow us better communicate with our members and will make it easier to give member discounts for our events

All volunteers must be SBS members.

Saskatoon Blues Festival:

Hey, would you like to be a vital part in ensuring that the next Saskatoon Blues Festival is a resounding success... and hear some great Blues? If your answer is "yes", how about becoming a volunteer?


The perks of the job include hearing some fine music, working with great people, getting up close and personal with the various acts, and doing your heart good by providing information services, accessibility co-ordination, on-site production, hospitality services, and on-site fundraising, to name a few. We will be sure to accommodate you with volunteer shifts that will still give you plenty of time to enjoy the Festival or other events.

Note that all volunteers must be members of Saskatoon Blues Society.
