The Kelly Richey band features heavy, riff-soaked blues guitar that is driven head first into incendiary funk bass lines and powerful rock/hip hop infused backbeats. The Kelly Richey Band sports a new, first-class line up for 2013. Freekbass and Jyn Yates are coming onboard to join Kelly Richey for a searing blues/rock/funk power trio that aims to seriously rock the house. Kelly Richey's wicked fret board prowess and husky vocals meet up with the legendary Freekbass, one of the best funk bassists in the world today, and female powerhouse drummer Jyn Yates. These masterful players deliver solid, in-the-pocket monster grooves that forge the backbone for Richey to fly on. The Kelly Richey Band brings unparalleled energy and brilliant musicianship to the stage as they deftly meld blues, rock and funk for a dizzyingly potent wall of sound.
