2010 Blues in the Schools Program The Saskatoon Blues Society (SBS) and its Blues in the School (BITS) program are happy to welcome Harrison Kennedy to Saskatoon for the 2010 Saskatoon Blues Festival and schools visits. The Saskatoon Blues Society is pleased to announce our Blues in the Schools program for the 2010 Blues Festival Week will feature internationally recognized artist Harrison Kennedy and local educator Randy "Freight Train" Wayne as our 2010 Artists in Residence. Festival Week is Monday February 22 - Friday February 26th. We are now booking

Book your school early to get your choice of date, time and presenter. We're very excited to have Harrison Kennedy as our International Artist in
Residence for this year. Randy "Freight Train" Wayne Bluesman Randy "Freight Train" Wayne is well known as a performer on Saskatoon's blues scene. Whether he is playing solo, in a duo with his partner "Mama B" or with the Transcontinental Blues Band, "Freight Train" remains true to the heart and soul of the blues. He is also a dedicated blues historian and educator and has been involved with Blues In The Schools programs for several years. "Freight Train" will be presenting solo for the Blues in the Schools program while performing on the Thursday evening of the Blues Festival with his full band, The Transcontinental Blues Band.
